Independent procurement coordination
Electric Linear Actuator Sourcing
Electric Linear Actuator Sourcing coordinates factory quotes for electric linear motion components. The service does not manufacture actuators, hold inventory or present itself as an original-equipment seller or brand-appointed reseller. Certificates, capacity statements and warranty wording belong to the named supplier on each reply. Buyers keep decision ownership for specification, budget preference and contract acceptance. No founding year, plant count or savings percentage is published because those facts are not on file for this service.
Scope limits
We collect load, stroke, supply and delivery facts, restate them into a consistent RFQ, and return comparable factory wholesale quotes. We do not approve plants, issue motion-safety marks, or treat extension time on the buyer’s machine as a site-owned result. Scope limits on a quotation are the items the factory agrees to design, test and ship; they are not transferred to this coordinator.
Scope limits: Equipment scope
The factory restates dynamic load through the stroke, stroke, supply in VDC, and whether feedback is included. Open manufacturer pages that list full-load versus no-load speed are checklists, not affiliation. Side-load path remains buyer data unless a guide is quoted. Work envelope is the remaining length for the rod and cables, not only the installed footprint.
Price exclusions
The factory must mark controllers, power supplies, installation, training, commissioning and SAT travel when they are outside the actuator price. Missing marks are exclusions. Cooling water treatment applies only if a cooled drive is in scope. PLC interface hardware and compressed-air valves are also site-cost items unless written in.
Remaining buyer inputs include destination, quantity, duty cycle (starts per hour and loaded travel duration), three-phase supply for any cabinet, connected load if a PSU is quoted, footprint and whether FAT is witnessed. Mark unknowns. Do not invent kW for a 12 VDC rod that has no motor cabinet.
Process engineers and maintenance engineers may add work envelope sketches, spare-parts lists and PLC interface names after the first quote round. Those additions change site work more than they change the independent role of this service. Throughput language is replaced here by loaded extension time at a named force. Cycle time refers to a loaded stroke, not a packaging machine. Changeover between fixtures is a documented duty, not an assumed free option. Tooling means pins, extra cables and alignment fixtures.
When a factory cites dynamic load in N or duty cycle from a public Electrak HD table observed 2026-09-17, we treat that text as a supplier document to be reconfirmed against the buyer’s ambient temperature. We do not copy those figures into a site-owned rating. Working pressure language is replaced by mechanical load and buckling checks. Flow rate does not apply. Positioning tolerance of pin centres is confirmed on drawings. Supply frequency in Hz must match the US plant if electric cabinets are included.
